This is my video about these two OS and their history. Sorry but you will find some mistakes like the word "Evolution" I miss spell it "Evolutuion" (yargh!!), I wrote about the dates of the releases of KDE but my intention was the Linux's kernels (I didn't find)... and some others, but anyway!!! enjoy!!

    @riDDimann you dont have to tinker with it, a modern ubuntu comes mostly complete. the tinkering is only optional mostly.

    @krnetip All the Linux I'm running is Ubuntu Server. I don't have the time to tinker with my OS, so it's down to Windows and OSX.

    For some reason Linux has to look ass. Even the most recent Ubuntu that just had a complete UI overhaul looks pathetic.

    Support for Linux is way better. You can ask people in the same country as you (multiple people) and not sit on hold for 2 hours.

    Plus Ubuntu's bugs get fixed a lot faster than windows... You clearly don't know much,

    i run ubuntu on my netbook and in all honesty, a lot of the kick ass visuals are really unnecessary...it all comes down to support, which microsoft will always lead the way in...ubuntu is great but the bugs can get more annoying than the slick interface is worth.

    @ToxeCryz in fact Mac suck in opensourceware but for graphics it's thousands times better than linux ... so each one have its one specifications and constitute a way to go !

    @malikcppp Mac, fuck no. It's the most closed OS of them all. Linux however is the way to go!

    We need a more open OS not a more closed and restricted :S

    No, the problem with linux is linux. You just can't get mass market by calling stuff x3taa23, ff8e2e, K-Somewordilikedbutdoesn'tmeananythingtoanyoneelse and expect your grandmother to remember what they do.
